About "Into The Moonlight"
This album is the result of me listening to bands & artists like Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, Galneryus, Steve Vai, George Lynch, Marco Sfogli, Fallbrooke and Ethan Brosh for 1 year. I wanted to make an Instrumental Guitar album that sounded different than the average shred guitar instrumental album. I decided to approach songwriting and try to create a sound that sounded somewhat like the bands listed above but yet sound like me.
All of these songs have there own sound to them, each track reflects a band or artist I was listening to at the time. I tend to get very inspired by music that I hear and if I get very inspired I will write a song that same day. Last summer('09) I was very fortunate to have a chat with the great George Lynch on Facebook. He told me a great way to get inspiration for writing was to listen to your favorite songs/bands nonstop and then an idea will come to mind when you finish listening to those songs or bands. And so I opened up my playlist and put on some Marco Sfogli, Paramore, Dokken, Fallbrooke, Ethan Brosh and sure enough, when I was finished listening to all the songs, ideas started flowing.
This album is a result of 1 year of hard work, dedication and lots of patience. I hope you get a chance to check it out and buy it. I assure you, you will love it. I had a lot of fun writing, recording and mixing this project. It was a great learning experience and I will never forget it. I know that it has been long overdue but I feel these 9 tracks really can speak for themselves, every one of them is special to me and hopefully will be to you as well.
I hope when you listen to "Into The Moonlight" you will feel the originality and modern sound I have tried to create here. Like I said, I didn't want another shred fest album. I think that my debut album is very unique in sound and will project a great feel to the listener.
Thanks for visiting my website and for reading. Please support me buy purchasing the album HERE on my website .
